RT-V6
RT-V6 is part of a failed line of assassin droids designed by the late Admiral Atloth. The model was scrapped due to a major glitch in the droids’ programming chip, which would not allow the droids to be programmed. Only the droids’ core programming, that of an assassin, would stay wired into the chip. Seeing the inherent dangers in an assassin droid that basically did what it wanted to, Atloth scrapped the project and the entire RT series was destroyed.
How RT-V6 managed to escape destruction is unknown. It is believed that during the confusion following the destruction of the first Death Star, someone simply lost track of him, or he was stolen. Only RT-V6 knows the truth, and he’s not telling.
RT-V6 operated for years, hiring himself out as a freelance assassin and bounty hunter. He is equipped with many deadly weapons, and has made quite a name for himself in the business. These days he operates out of Nar Shaddaa, and can usually be found in the spaceport’s seedy taverns, waiting patiently for his next job.
