Calis Tynahra
Calis was born on Ryvellia to parents who were killed by Imperial attack when she was sixteen. She grew up hating the Empire and became an attaché to the Ryvellian Ambassador to the Senate, travelling the galaxy on diplomatic assignments, but was removed from the position after loudly voicing her resentment for the Empire in a senatorial meeting.
Later, Calis discovered the commander of the assault that killed her parents years before served in the Senate as chief military commander of the Empire and she plotted an assassination attempt on his life, in which during the attempt, she is discovered by Vader unknowingly using rudimentary force powers to aid her attempt.
Calis is sentenced to hard labour at the Kessel Spice Mines, but never serves a day of her sentence as Vader drafts her into his service to develop her force abilities. Reluctantly, she accepts, only because it is a better option than facing imprisonment.
There she meets Ruan. During the year of training Calis spent under Lord Vader, Calis and Ruan developed a close romantic relationship.
Ruan and Calis decided to flee the Empire when Calis fell pregnant so they could start a new life with their child away from the tyranny of the Empire. They were pursued by Korbain Thor, a bounty hunter sent after them by Vader, who they battled on the forest world of Bothawui. After leaving Thor for dead and stealing his ship they set off to start a new life together.
Since their victory over Thor and newborn child to protect, Calis has been developing her force abilites and lightsaber skills to become a skilled warrior and protective mother.
