Ruan Arconis
A notable Imperial fighter pilot, grew up on his homeworld of Coruscant to parents who worked in the Seinar Fleet Systems R&D department, designing fightercraft for the Empire. It was not surprising he chose to enter the Imperial Naval academy and become a fighter pilot, but it was very surprising how well he performed. Space warfare and tactics were his specialty, and he became an ace pilot in short order, and soon promoted to Squadron Leader. His amazing piloting skills soon drew the attention of Vader as it was obvious he was no ordinary recruit. Rudimentary abilities in the force were certainly playing a large part in his piloting prowess.
After years of loyal service to the Empire, Ruan had his first doubts when on a mission for the Imperial Navy he is ordered to attack a civilian installation and kill defenceless people. He refused the attack and failed the mission and was officially reprimanded and demoted, only to be forced into serving Vader and the Emperor, along with Calis. Lord Darth Vader then personally began training Ruan and Calis in Sith arts, where he and Calis developed a close romantic relationship.
Ruan and Calis decided to flee the Empire when Calis fell pregnant so they could start a new life with their child away from the tyranny of the Empire. They were pursued by Korbain Thor, a bounty hunter sent after them by Vader, who they battled on the forest world of Bothawui. After leaving Thor for dead and stealing his ship they set off to start a new life together.
After losing his lightsaber on Bothawui, Ruan has now taken to using dual blasters, something he’s always been more comfortable with from his old military days, in conjunction with his force abilities.
