Captain Galen Hannard

Upon completion of his Academy training, Hannard served in various low ranking positions, working his way up the chain of command. Eventually, his superiors decided Hannard would make good officer material. He was transferred to the Star Destroyer Revenge, and promoted to captain under Admiral Okins. He served as second-in-command of the Revenge for a year, until Admiral Ozzel requested he be posted to the Executor, which Hannard eagerly accepted in the position of third-in-command. Okins and Hannard were reunited a year and a half after the Death Star’s destruction at Yavin, when Okins was assigned temporary command of the Executor. Ozzel and his second, Captain Piett, were sent off on a secret assignment, and Hannard was given the temporary position of first officer. After a few successful missions under Okins’ command, the Executor was assigned to capture two of Darth Vader’s Sith apprentices, who were attempting to escape the Dark Lord’s iron grasp.
